Working on low carb sausage balls

I tried to make low carb sausage balls using CarbQuick baking mix. 

They were good but need to tweak them a little.   Pictures Monday when I get to work

I've made them too, using the CarbQuick, and while good, I agree they could use a little tweaking.  I'm thinking a mix of CarbQuick and either Carbalose or almond flour would make a better sausage ball.

Here are the pictures.    These were good but a tad doughy, next time less CarbQuick and more sausage and cheese 

recipe was   1 pound sausage, 1 pound cheese and 2 cups CarQuick

Spritz a little oil on them before cooking in air fryer.    Took 7 mins then flipped 3 mins to finish once flipped

Not familiar with Carbquick.  What all do you use it for?

Carb quick is a very low carb baking mix that is similar to Bisquick.  Although, not the same it can be played with to get close to the same type texture and taste

You just need to play with it using things like stevia or other sweetners, psyllium husk fiber and so forth.      I buy mine from Amazone.

I make pancakes, breads, wraps with it among other things.   Tenthunter really has better ideas with it.
