I would be curious to see if this can be used to make a roux? Been looking to find a way to make roux for Gumbo.

Not sure but I’ll give it a try. Right now recovering from foot surgery but I’ll try to see if it will make gravy then go from there

Works well for gravy so I would think a roux would work just fine
